Today’s Transmedia Sports Commentary: A little over a week ago or so. Bob Saloman, Board Member introduced me to a courageous Baseball Player Dave Clark and Doug Cornfield Co-Founders of the Dave Clark Foundation.   DREAM & DO has become a new Mantra at WCNTV and we are inspired by this Athlete and his Pay it Forward attitude.   With 50,000 people in America with Disabilities the Dave Clark Foundation say’s YES WE CAN!!! With perseverance and a kind heart they approach their life’s work and now it’s time for the rest of the world to give something back. Sure you can write a check to the organization and support them financially but I get a sense there is more to this than money. Find out for yourself. Visit the website, then plug into The DREAM and DO something to overcome your limitations. One step at a time All things are possible to them that believe.   WCNTV Believes it has found a great group of people to highlight for our readers.   Not sure who the METS have chosen to throw out the First Pitch for their 50th Year Opener at CITI FIELD.  DAVE GETS MY VOTE.   Visit http://www.daveclarkfoundation.org/   Dave is a native of Corning, New York, who now lives in Cape Coral, Florida, with his wife, Camilla, their daughter, Elica, and son Trey.   As an infant, Dave contracted polio that stunted his growth and left him without the full use of his legs. But despite that, and perhaps because of it, he was driven to excel in physical competition against so-called able-bodied people.   The Dave Clark story is likely the greatest “mostly unknown” professional sports account of our time and teaches unforgettable life lessons that gives hope to anyone facing a challenge whether large or small.
